Soroptimist International of Stuart has a record of almost six decades of supporting events, organizations, citizens, construction and rescue of county sites through large and small grants. Whenever funding is possible and wherever the need is greatest, Soroptimist is there to help.
Major grants that improved the lives of much of Martin County were the renovation and museum status of the House of Refuge, the construction of the swimming pool at Martin County High School, funding for a room at Martin Memorial Hospital and funding of two gazebos at Mary J. Brogan Park.

Soroptimist of Stuart is a non-profit organization and believes in sharing its revenue in the form of grants with the community who provided much of the funds received during fundraising events as Women of Distinction.
The majority of the funds raised by Soroptimist International of Stuart is used for the ongoing programs supported by the club, such as our new TRUST program, dedicated to helping teens avoid abuse in relationships. When additional funds are available, Soroptimist extends the invitation to the community to apply for these smaller grants.
